Our vision of circularity within wind power decommissioning

Our vision at Kingo Wind is to ensure circularity of all materials in wind power decommissioning, and to maximize re-use over recycling of blades and spare parts.​

In practice, this means that we match our projects with the most environmentally preferable 2nd life cycle for all turbine components. Our location and warehouse facilities, where we store all components in-between their life cycles, is a key enabler.​
Kingo Wind collects and analyze data from decommissioning, re-cycling and re-using processes. This enables us to be transparent about the climate and environmental impacts of the end-of-life solutions that we offer.​

Our Mission is to be industry’s preferred partner for data-driven and environmentally sound repurposing of decommissioned wind turbines. As part of Kingo Karlsen, Kingo Wind is also striving to elevate industry standards by pushing the debate on circularity and sustainability, specifically the prospective ban of land filling of turbine blades in Denmark and in the EU.​​
